Winfarthing Parish Council comprises seven members elected every four years. Find out more about the Council.

The parish council is responsible for

  • Upkeep of Winfarthing village

  • Commenting on planning applications

  • The parish noticeboard and bench

  • The litter and dog bins

  • General maintenance around the village

Welcome to Winfarthing

Winfarthing is a small Norfolk village situated on the B1077, approximately four miles north of Diss and 20 miles south of Norwich.  If falls in the district of South Norfolk.

It is home to All Saints Church of England Primary School, St Mary's Church and the Fighting Cocks Public House.

Next Meeting of the Parish Council

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall.  This will be preceded by the Annual Parish Meeting at 7 pm.  Members of the public are welcome to attend.
